Medics in Riverhead were called at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, with reports of an unconscious man who was seated against an exterior wall outside Express Deli & Café on Osborn Avenue, according to Riverhead Town Police.

When officers arrived, they found the man not breathing and without a pulse, and began performing CPR. The man was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Detectives identified the man as 44-year-old Alberto Munoz Noj, of Riverhead. Police said his death is under investigation, but is not believed to be the result of any criminal activity.
